Jobs can be manually completed, setting the job status to Completed. This status is independent of the job status in the accounting system. This is useful for jobs that are operationally completed, but still are active in the accounting system. With manually completion, the job will not be on FieldVu lists of active jobs.


Manually completion of a job will prevent further field tickets, work orders and dispatch outs for the job.


A job cannot be manually completed if there are any open field tickets or work orders for the job.


Jobs that are manually completed are still available for access by filtering on the Completed job status


Access to Manual Completion is authorized at the user level by the Manual Completion group permission.


From the menu, go to Jobs > Overview and open the job


1. Select the Manual Completion check box



2. On the Manual complete – Job popup window, select YES



3. The Manual Completion check box indicates that the job is completed



4. If the job has open field tickets or work orders, it cannot be manually completed until the documents are either approved or deleted.



5. A job that was previously manually completed, can be re-activated by removing the Manual Completion check box. This will allow new field tickets, work orders and dispatches.
