This Solutions Article will cover the process for adding a Employee in SAP ByDesign as a worker in FieldVu for inclusion on Field Tickets and Work Orders. 


There are five requirements for a SAP ByDesign Employee to be included in FieldVu as a Worker

Step 1: Employee must have "Enabled for FieldVu" checked


Work Center: Personnel Administration

View: Employees


Select the employee and enter "Edit" mode


Personal Data -> Biological Data -> Enabled for FieldVu



Step 2: Payment information must have a selection


Work Center: Personnel Administration

View: Employees


Select the Employee and enter "Edit" Mode


Personal Data -> Payment Information -> Payment Method



Step 3: Employee must be configured with a Job


Work Center: Personnel Administration

View: Employees


Select the Employee and enter "Edit" mode


Employment -> Organizational Assignment -> Job


If a job is not configured, submit a IT ticket


Step 4: The employee must have an email address


Work Center: Personnel Administration

View: Employees


Select the Employee and enter "Edit" mode


Employment -> Workplace Contact Data -> E-Mail:



Step 5: In FieldVu, add a work type for the employee


Workers -> Search by Individual



The employee will now be able to be added as a worker on Field Tickets and Work Orders.
