This solution articles purpose is to define the steps taken to establish a connection to the SEF Energy Virtual Private Network (VPN), providing a simplified guideline for end users to follow.

1. Windows Navigation
Select the Start button, then select Settings
Click "Network & Internet" button
Select the VPN connection for SEF
Examples for the SEF connection could be Oil Center, Tulsa Connect, OSO, etc.
2. Establishing VPN Connection
Once you have click "Connect" on your preferred VPN connection, you should be prompted with a Sign-in dialogue box, asking for your domain credentials.
Please remember that your domain must precede your username. (Examples: downing\janedoe, dihold\joedoe)
End Users connecting to Tulsa Connect have local credentials and do not require domain to precede the username.
3. Common Troubleshooting Steps
The most common failure we see with VPN connections is attributed to the stored credentials. This can be resolved by taking the following steps....
- Select the VPN connection
- Click "Advanced Options"
In the advanced options for the VPN connection, click the "Clear Sign-in Info" button.
4. Help Desk Ticket Submission/Support

Please provide the following details when submitting your ticket
- Username
- Domain
- Device ID (Asset Tag)
- Numbers identified on SEF Asset Tag
